Installing Nitronic 60 Helicoils
The Nitronic 60 inserts we are struggling to fit measure 0.320"/8.13. That's 0.016"/ 0.40mm extra diametral interference. Is this normal? Does the Nitronic require that much more preload? We have other sizes of Nitronic 60 inserts to fit, and have found the same size discrepancy so are currently thinking it is not just a bad batch of inserts.
